Defining herself as a transmedia and transpecies artist, Agnes Questionmark’s work is based on the concept of the metabody, investigating all possible physical transformations and taking into primary consideration the element of water, essential for life. Her performances are built on the fine line between science fiction, science and fantasy, inventing new balances and new hybrid forms of human-non-human that must adapt to the rapid environmental changes of the world. Transgenesis is the staging of her personal metamorphosis, the consequence of transition hormone therapy.
