Originally of Ghanaian descent, he is the most well-known Afro-Italian activist, writer, director, and producer. He has worked with Spike Lee and, in 2012, created the film 18 Ius Soli, which addresses the issue of citizenship for children of immigrants born in Italy but not yet recognized as Italian citizens. Recently, he launched the series Black Italian Film Showcase, which celebrates Afro-Italian talents in cinema. He believes that videos, films, and art in general can be excellent tools for building a more inclusive society.
