The Festival dei Matti meets Ken Loach, offering a video interview made on 29 April 2024. Friday evening closes with the screening of a video-recorded dialogue that Ken Loach gave to our Festival. A wonderful meeting with a great director who never ceases to bring us springs of words and images, thanks to his marvellous civil commitment against hypocrisy, inequality, crushing bureaucratic mechanisms and policies that nail the working class to a bad living with no apparent way out. Then, at 9.30 p.m., his film The Old Oak will be screened, a work in which the question of identity, in all its ferocity, opens the furrow of a possible redemption in the unexpected embrace of the last and in the construction of social ties in difference.
