At the heart of the story are two brothers, forced by an authoritarian father to enlist in the army, which profoundly impacts their lives. Their relationship with each other and with their father drives the unfolding events, leading to unexpected twists during a journey in which one brother escorts the other to prison.
Born in Germany in 1967, Türker Süer is a director and screenwriter with three appearances at the Berlin International Film Festival: in 2005 with Shaving Hacke, in 2010 with The Best Father Ever, and in 2012 with Brothers.
