(2024, USA, 80')

An explorer of the boundaries of audiovisual art and the intersections of cinema with other languages and artistic expressions, the American director returns to Venice one year after the psychedelic Aggro Dr1ft, this time delving into the aesthetics of video games. Baby Invasion is an interactive thriller shot entirely in first-person perspective, created using six body cams, one of which was worn by Korine himself. The protagonist’s house will be invaded by eerie enemies with the faces of newborns, in a visual immersion made even more realistic by the experimental technology developed by EDGLRD.
