Emerging Japanese pianist Chisato Taniguchi will perform a selection from the celebrated solo piano collection by Spanish composer Alberto Posadas Erinnerungsspuren (2014-18), with analytical tributes to great composers of the past and to different piano techniques, in particular to the two great 20th century German masters Karlheinz Stockhausen and Bernd Alois Zimmermann, alongside Rifrazione, a world premiere by Frankfurt-based Japanese composer Miharu Ogura, commissioned by the Biennale Musica.
