The group exhibition curated by Marika Parsadanelli Wardel brings together the works of thirteen artists from various backgrounds, with the aim of highlighting the creativity, resilience, and commitment of women in art and contemporary society, celebrating the richness of cultural diversity and the power of sisterhood. The displayed works encompass a wide variety of artistic languages, from painting to installations and performances, reflecting the diverse experiences of women around the world.
The choice of the Oratorio dei Crociferi as the venue is no coincidence. This historic site was once part of a medieval building that served as a rest stop for crusaders and pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. In the 14th century, it was transformed into a shelter for women in difficulty, offering them support, understanding, and the opportunity to learn manual trades.
