The bedroom is the focus of debate on Friday 22 November, from 10 a.m., at the Auditorium of the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice. The study day Case Museo d’Italia. I luoghi dell’abitare curated by ICOM Italia, Case Museo working group, proposes an in-depth study of this place that has been little studied in the past. National and international professionals and curators compare notes on new research. The occasion is to investigate strategies of reinterpretation, valorisation, involvement, concerning the most intimate space of the home. The study day is in collaboration with ICOM Italy Regional Coordination, ICOM Demhist (International Committee for Historic House Museums), Associazione Nazionale Case della Memoria, FAI (Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano), Associazione Dimore Storiche Italia. With the support of ICOM Italia, ICOM Demhist (International Committee for Historic House Museums), Fondazione Querini Stampalia. As a corollary, on Saturday 23 November there will be a free guided tour of the Fondazione Querini Stampalia.
