Where Silence Dwells brings together the works of Chen Yuxing and Liu Xuanzhu, Chinese artists living and working in Mestre. Curated by Claudia Cappello, the exhibition presented by Linli Art Space delves into the dialogue between their creations, distinct in themes and approach yet united by a silent and profound reflection on interpersonal relationships and the connection with the external world.
Chen Yuxing showcases a series of paintings where plant leaves become symbols of feminine strength and introspection, evoking a bond between individuality and nature. Liu Xuanzhu, through his portraits, explores objectified subjectivity, creating tensions between formal control and the emergence of personal identity. An immersion into a “significant silence” that invites contemplation and dialogue.
