Austrian baritone Markus Werba participated in two of the latest productions at the Maggio Musicale in Florence, starring in Ariadne auf Naxos and in Die Fledermaus. Together with Slovenian pianist Matej Dzido, he will perform in Schubert’s Winterreise, a set of 24 Lieder that is regarded as one of the best examples of the genre.
