The Candiani Groove review punctually continues its exploration of the sounds of the world led by Veneto Jazz, bringing to the stage the magic of ancient and unusual instruments mixed with the sound experiments of the present. The seven events scheduled until April are a journey through some of the best voices of international music, committed to the recovery of tradition and the expression of the most authentic contemporary spirit, as witnessed by the first meeting at the end of January with French musician and composer Michel Godard. Ecstasy, humour, and virtuosity of the first order: accordion wizard Renato Borghetti is the superstar among nu folk musicians from Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil, and he comes to Candiani on 2 March. His shows are unforgettable live performances that offer a sparkling and elegant mix of traditional forms such as milonga, chacarera and chamamé with elements of jazz, tango and chamber music, adapting each of these forms to his unique style of accordion playing.
