It will be an evening of the most adventurous sound research at Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi for the final presentation of the first artistic residency of New Echo System 2025, in collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation. Protagonists of the event are möf (alias of Swiss clarinetist and sound artist Fabian Mösch) and Italian drummer and composer Francesca Remigi: two of the most intriguing exponents of the new European jazz and improvisation scene, united for the first time in an unprecedented performance that blends acoustic and electronic sounds, creative improvisation, play and fluid construction. Fabian Mösch (möf) is a sonic explorer capable of ranging from drone music to ambient, from contemporary classical music to free improvisation. Co-founder of the Pamplona Grup collective, he works both in ensemble and as a soloist, creating sonic environments that defy categories and expectations. Francesca Remigi is one of the most original figures on the Italian experimental and contemporary jazz scene. A multifaceted artist, she has collaborated with such sacred monsters of international jazz as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Danilo Pérez, Steve Lehman and Kris Davis, bringing forth a personal, energetic and out-of-the-box musical language. This residency, conceived as a space for research, discussion and openness, perfectly embodies the spirit of New Echo System: exploring new frontiers of sound, bringing different artistic scenes into dialogue and resonating Venice of contemporary creativity.
