Every Friday in September, a guided tour dedicated to the history of Punta della Dogana and an exclusive cocktail on the terraces is organised by Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana.
The ancient Sea Custom House of Venice is presented under a unique point of view, through a guided tour that starts from the 15th century, with the developments of Venice’s commercial activities, to this day, with the renovation project by architect Tadao Ando and the transformation of the building into a museum of contemporary art. The tour ends with a cocktail on the terraces of Punta della Dogana, after the closure of the museum at 7 pm. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy an unprecedented view over St. Mark’s basin and to live the exclusive experience of the museum behind closed doors.
