The Cesare De Michelis Auditorium of M9 – Museo del Novecento hosts the concert of the Schoenberg Project, which aims to deepen and popularize Schoenberg’s music, his school and the composers who were able to carry out his ideas.
Resulting from the collaboration of Prof. Amodio’s string ensemble music classes, the Conservatorio “Benedetto Marcello” in Venice and the “Beaumont Consor,” the concert is an opportunity to hear Schonberg’s compositions that span his entire compositional journey: from transcriptions for a chamber group of two Strauss waltzes to the extremely romantic notes of the Nocturne for Harp and Strings, from the Chamber Symphony (in the transcription for quintet by A. Webern, his student) to the twelve-tone composition of Fantasia for Violin and Piano.
