The soundtracks of the films that have made the history of cinema come to life on the coast of Bibione beach thanks to the project conceived by Maestro Diego Basso together with the Italian Symphonic Rhythmic Orchestra and the Opera House Lyric Choir. The symphonic concert brings the audience back to the sensations experienced at the sight of the landscapes of The Last Emperor to the depths of the Sahara desert with Tea in the Desert and the soundtracks by David Byrne and Ryūichi Sakamoto. From the film Dances with wolves, enhanced by the music of John Barry, passing to the unforgettable soundtracks of the Masters Vladimir Cosma, Jerry Goldsmith, Ennio Morricone, different cinematic stories are covered such as The Mission, The good, the bad and the ugly and Ecstasy of gold to land at The Magnificent Seven with the soundtrack composed by Elmer Bernstein. Notes of a musical project by Maestro Basso, who also edited the transcriptions, in an unprecedented collaboration between Renato Casaro the “poster designer” who contributed to making cinema great and the “Orchestra Director” who directs in awareness that music creates understandings and unites universes. A project in which Casaro himself, who will be the guest of the evening, participated enthusiastically, also creating the poster for the concert which has already become a collector’s piece of art.
