More than an art collective, Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, and Hesam Rahmanian are a living, evolving relationship. The house they share with their colleagues is the perfect example of how they work in a continuum – an ideal place where life and work are used to test new ideas. The ‘fields of interactive negotiations’, which is what they call their sculptures, follow organic processes of growth, interaction, regeneration, and contamination. RHH act as gatherers that create original constellations by combining images, books, films, and art into an ecosystem of relations and narrations. ALLUVIUM, the exhibition that OGR produced for the 2022 Art Biennale, is a choreography of images curated by RHH, which they use to rewrite the state of the world into an original, newly minted present.

Sculptures are composition of terracotta plates on metal frames, created in cooperation with dancer and choreographer Deborah Hay and welder Mohammed Rahis Mollah. The non-verbal communication of the installation’s motion, translated in the unstable balancing of each ‘molecule’, gives continuity to the exhibition thanks to a piece of performance art to be staged towards the closing of the exhibition. On November 26, dancers Francesca Ugolini and Andrea Dionisi will ‘read’ the sculptures and replicate the motions that are frozen within. In their interpretation, the dancer will be video recorded, and the video will in turn be used to replicate the art in new metal frames. The performance befits perfectly the artists’ style and will be the appropriate conclusion of their Venetian exhibition.
