Venice Symphony is Arthur Henry’s end-of-residence audiovisual performance, developed in collaboration with filmmakers Kinonauts. A performance in which sounds and visions of the urban landscape mix to create a musical score that reflects on the condition of the city today. Arthur travels the world to record sounds that he can transform to create electronic music, in a mechanism that sees the world composed of multitudes of sound fragments from which the musician skilfully creates surprising collages. The producer, who hails from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, is a two-time Loopstation champion and a beatbox star, and combines sound art components to form a powerful whole. His current focus: traveling all over the world, capturing the sounds of cities to create his signature music. Free admission subject to availability of seats.
