They come from Michigan, in the heart of the Great Lakes region, the thirty singers of the Shotime Production choir, which will offer the Venetian public an intense concert of sacred music on Saturday 24 June.
In the monumental Church of San Moisè, under the guidance of conductor Steven Olsen, and accompanied by the notes of organist Sandra Main-Niemisto, the choir will offer a repertoire ranging from the late 18th century to the contemporary, all inspired by the sole purpose of giving glory to God.
The American religious music tradition will find shape and sound in a programme of twenty-five pieces that recount more than two centuries of praises and invocations of faith.
