The exhibition Tiziano 1508. Agli esordi di una luminosa carriera, curated by Roberta Battaglia, Sarah Ferrari, and Antonio Mazzotta, narrates the early days of the talented artist through 17 autographed works by Tiziano and about 10 comparisons with paintings, engravings, and drawings by contemporary artists such as Giorgione, Sebastiano del Piombo, Albrecht Dürer, and Francesco Vecellio.
Among the exhibited works, you will find significant loans, including the large print of the Trionfo di Cristo from the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Cristo risorto from the Uffizi, Angelo con tamburello from the Galleria Doria Pamphilj in Rome, Madonna con il Bambino tra sant’Antonio da Padova e san Rocco from the Museo del Prado, and Battesimo di Cristo from the Musei Capitolini.
