Another record-setting Biennale just ended, but the Biennale won’t leave its exhibition site on the mainland, at Forte Marghera, which will be turned into a place of magic thanks to the power of art.
The programme will start on December 15, 6pm with a DJ set and the unveiling of panoramic installation X-Tree, a modern, architectural reinterpretation of the classic Christmas tree. A luminous, ecological sculpture in oxidized metal, timber, and neon, with lights, sounds, and images, X-Tree is a creation of Studio 1024 Architecture in Paris. Visitors will be able to enter the actual sculpture and walk to a 70-foot-tall terrace and enjoy a different perspective on the city.
This is the Biennale’s first participation to Venetian Christmas, which adds a touch of modernity, research, innovation, and entertainment.
