Fifty-two students from Knox Grammar School in Sydney, Australia, aged between 13 and 18, will perform on the stage of Piazza Ferretto in Mestre in an exciting symphonic repertoire. The program will include pieces ranging from “Danse Bacchanale” from “Samson and Delilah” Op. 47 by Camille Saint-Saëns to “Pomp and Circumstance – March No. 1 – Op. 39” by Sir Edward Elgar. Additionally, there will be compositions such as “A Tribute to John Williams” in the arrangement by Paul Lavender and “Jesus Christ Superstar” arranged by Henry Mancini. Moving through Whitacre’s “October” (For FULL Orchestra) and concluding with “Seventy-Six Trombones (Professional Edition)” by Meredith Wilson, arranged by Leroy.
