Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, affectionately known as the “Trocks,” is an eccentric and irreverent American company comprised exclusively of men. They delight in challenging conventions and parodying classical ballet by reinterpreting the ancient tradition of male dancers performing en travesti in a modern and irreverent manner.
Swans, sylphs, water sprites, romantic princesses, or distressed Victorian ladies: the Trocks effortlessly and gracefully pirouette on giant pointe shoes, their solid male physiques wrapped in billowing tutus.
