Artist Ruth Patir was diagnosed with a genetic condition that may impair her ability to conceive. She then resorted to embryo cryopreservation to try preserve her fertility. The conversations you’ll see are based on ones that actually took place: doctors, friends, Patir’s mother, and an imaginary audience of online followers. Her art is a four-chapter video installation that uses advanced imaging technology, 3D video animation, and motion capture to create a connection with social reality and national identity.
