The realistic and documentary style of Șerban Savu permeates a polyptych of about forty paintings surrounded by an architectural structure decorated with mosaics. Savu’s reflection focuses on an alienating alternation between work and rest and on the rhythms imposed by the prevailing requirements of a productivity increasingly disconnected from the primary physical and mental needs of people. The project continues at the New Gallery of Romanian Institute for Culture and Humanistic Research, transformed for the occasion into a mosaic workshop.
