An immersive and hypnotic atmosphere, populated by sounds and images of creatures coming up from real and imaginary Catalan landscapes, which leads to new listening experiences. Carlos Casas’s Bestiaries draw inspiration from the Disputa de l’ase (Dispute of the Donkey), a text written in 1417 by Anselm Turmeda. It tells the story of a man who falls asleep in an idyllic forest and when he wakes up he is able to understand the language of animals. The latter subject him to trial, questioning him about anthropocentrism.
