THE SPIRITS OF MARITIME CROSSING

A constellation of artists from all over the world tackle the theme of uprooting and diaspora through their diverse works, engaging in the debate triggered by Adriano Pedrosa’s guidelines. A short film featuring Marina Abramović, mythological dances, sparkling shards, embroideries, video performances, and phantasmagorical assemblages tell about contemporary colonialism and hybrid cultures, focusing on the destinies of those who are considered as strangers and as foreigners everywhere, offering a unique perspective on these experiences.
