The fourth installment of the L’Atto Creativo series brings interdisciplinary artist and performer Marzia Migliora to San Servolo in conversation with Steve Della Casa, film critic and radio host.
For thirty years, Marzia Migliora’s work has spanned photography, video, sound, performance, installation, and drawing, transforming everyday gestures into collective narratives. At the core of her practice are memory as a tool to understand the present, work as an act of social participation, and the contradictions of industrial capitalism. In recent years, her perspective has expanded to include multi-species viewpoints, encompassing animals and plants, envisioning alternative worlds in times of climate crisis.
