The final day of the Festival explores literature that tackles themes of historical memory, identity, and resistance. The day begins with Igor Štiks, discussing the connections between past and present in his novel W with Chiara Bonfiglioli. Next, Petra Rautiainen reflects on her novel Land of Snow and Ashes and the scars left by World War II in Finland.
In the afternoon, Pierre Adrian, winner of the Young – Golden Tree Prize, shares his interpretation of the figure of Pasolini, while Mathias Énard presents his novel Déserter, exploring themes of betrayal and survival.
The day concludes with a conversation between Roberto Ferrucci, Tiziano Scarpa, and Professor Alessandro Cinquegrani, discussing Ferrucci’s recent memoir about Daniele Del Giudice. The evening closes with musician Enrico Fink, author of the book Patrilineare. Una storia di fantasmi (Patrilinear. A Ghost Story), joined by Ottavia Piccolo, reflecting on family memories and inherited identities.
