InLaguna Film Festival reaches its third edition, confirming itself as a valuable outpost for the discovery of the most interesting contemporary cinema. Eleven films in competition between long, medium and short films will compete for the ‘Gianfranco De Bosio’ 2023 Prize, a cash prize that will be awarded directly to the winning director by a professional jury. In addition, for the first year, there will also be a university jury in collaboration with Ca’ Foscari. This year there will also be three films out of competition “Il Compleanno di Enrico” (Enrico’s Birthday) by the Belluno director Francesco Sossai, which will open the festival, “Paradiso, XXXI, 108” by the Palestinian director Kamal Aljafari for a special evening on Saturday 2 December, and for the closing evening “Los océanos son los verdaderos continentes” by Tommaso Santambrogio. As in previous editions, we renew our desire to give ample space to films and invited guests, seeking to offer the Venetian public an open and heterogeneous overview of contemporary cinema. We confirm the strong connection with the local area and local professionals with no less than two Industry days that will take place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 at ICI Venice. Finally, another novelty of the 2023 edition and one of the main reasons for moving the dates to the end of November, in order to be able to interact even more with the city and its young people, there will be a matinee with schools on Friday 1 December at the Casa del Cinema.
