Adam Holzman is a known presence at the Combo space in Venice. He is an experimenter, a name of excellence in the history of jazz, and an excellent interpreter of the synthesizer. Holzman is in town to curate the upcoming Synth Workshop, due August 2 and 3, a class that will range from general keyboard notions all the way to componing skills. Participants may qualify for a scholarship funded in memory of Marcello Mormile, the founder of electronic music festival Nu Fest and once promoter of the project. At the end of the seminary, at Combo space on August 3, Holzman will perform in a concert with Stefano Olivato (bass and harmonica) and Davide Ragazzoni (drums), starting off the Venezia Jazz Festival.
