SoloPianoJazzFest is the first piano festival, with which the Laguna Libre wants to accompany the Saturday night dinners in the wonderful music and art room. A review that involves in this first edition the most important jazz pianists of north-eastern Italy. At the center of attention is the new “Yamaha” C3 baby grand piano that the “Giuseppe Verdi di Venezia” music academy has donated on loan for use to the Laguna Libre, and on which many great pianists will lay their hands. “The heartbeat regulates human breathing; the movement of the stars is a great planetary breath; the rhythm is pulsating breath. Musical improvisation, coordinated by rhythm, is jazz”. Armando Battiston On this occasion Armando Battiston proposes his music on the pulse of jazz with author compositions and personal compositions, all corroborated by his own improvisations. He will announce the various songs and authors during the performance, creating curiosity and surprise in the audience in the manner of true jazz.
