Experimental music pioneers Rob Brown and Sean Booth never liked labels—which didn’t prevent them to become protagonists of the evolution of electronic music creation in live concerts. Originally from Manchester and childhood friends, the two debuted with Incunabula in 1993, an album of ambient music influence released by Warp Records. They will follow with a further thirteen albums, the fruit of a kind of artistic creativity able to understand, elaborate, and recreate the sound that influenced artists like Radiohead, Aphex Twin, and Björk, among others. SIGN and PLUS are their latest albums, both released in 2020.
