Bissuola Live is the name of a series of four concerts featuring young names from the Italian music scene, from January to February, on the stage of the Teatro del Parco. It starts on Saturday 20 January with the energy of the Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, the most anarchic duo on the Italian alternative scene, composed of Adriano Viterbini and Cesare Petulicchio, who will present their new album Next big, five years after their previous record. Bud Spencer Blues Explosion formed in Rome in late 2006 and are a duo consisting of Adriano Viterbini and Cesare Petulicchio. The name chosen for the band has two obvious references: the first to the actor Bud Spencer, the second to the punk blues band Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Just two months later, their first self-produced album, Happy, was released. In 2007, they were finalists at the Heineken Jammin’ Contest and performed at the Heineken Jammin’ Festival in Mestre and the Open’er Festival in Poland.
