CIRCLE4CHANGE: A TREE ON MOVE

Dutch land artist Bruno Doedens presents Circle4Change, a visionary European social landscape project promoting a world in harmony with Earth. Envisioned as a long-term collective artwork, the project will draw a symbolic circular line across nine countries, acting as a catalyst for initiatives that enrich, rather than exploit, the planet.
Through collaboration with local communities, institutions, artists, businesses and municipalities, this circular path will become a living platform and laboratory – a contemporary long-distance walking and cycling route with a strong symbolic charge. A journey that celebrates diversity, inspires long-term thinking, and imagines a new era: the Symbiocene.
The presentation will be followed by a screening of The Walking Forest, a documentary about Bosk, an extraordinary land art project that brought over one thousand trees into the Dutch city of Leeuwarden for 100 days. The city was transformed into a living, moving forest, allowing citizens to experience the beauty and strength of nature in their urban environment. The film explores how this collective experience rekindled a sense of connection, care, and hope.
