Appointment with the Concert for Europe in the Concert Hall of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, in collaboration with the Venice branch of the Council of Europe and the Venice City Council’s Europe Direct Venezia Veneto. Institutional greetings by Roberto Gattipavero, Director of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, and Mario Schwetz, Director of the Italian branch of the Council of Europe and President of the Council of the Municipality of Venice, will be followed by a repertoire including Dmitri Shostakovich’s Trio No. 1 in C minor, Op. 8 (1924) and Maurice Ravel’s Trio in A minor (1914). On stage Leonardo Francescon on piano, Giovanni Claudio di Giorgio on violin and Francesca di Giorgio on cello. Admission free while places last.
