Giulio Rovighi, first violin; Aldo Campagnari, second violin; Danusha Waskiewicz, viola; Francesco Dillon, cello: together they make up the Prometheus Quartet, an international group that has enjoyed critical and public success since 1998, receiving among the numerous awards the Silver Lion at the 2012 Venice Biennale. Particularly intense is the artistic relationship with Salvatore Sciarrino, Ivan Fedele and Stefano Gervasoni, significant collaborations with the likes of Mario Brunello, David Geringas, Veronika Hagen, Alexander Lonquich, Enrico Pace, Stefano Scodanibbio, Quartetto Belcea, Enrico Bronzi, Mariangela Vacatello, Lilya Zilberstein. On 26 August the Quartet is the protagonist of the concert that the Guggenheim Collection dedicates every year to the memory of the legendary collector on her birthday. In the repertoire proposed to the guests, music by Stefano Scodanibbio, Benjamin Britten, Andrea Liberovici.
