The journey of the Special Projects of the Historical Archive concludes in 2025 under the banner of music and dance with Coro, the masterpiece composed by Luciano Berio between 1974 and 1976, performed in its Italian premiere at the Biennale Teatro e Musica directed by Luca Ronconi in 1976. Coro will be presented on December 6 and 7 at Teatro La Fenice in a new staged version featuring the original choreography by Wayne McGregor. This tribute, organized by La Biennale di Venezia in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, celebrates the great composer on the centenary of his birth.

Alongside the forty voices of the Choir of the Siena Cathedral “Guido Chigi Saracini”, paired by vocal affinity with forty members of the Orchestra of Teatro La Fenice, there will also be twenty dancers—ten from the Wayne McGregor Company and ten selected from among the best dancers of Biennale College from the past five years.
