A total of 35 concerts at the Teatro La Fenice, divided into 23 different programs, all with interpreters of a highly selected artistic level: the 2022 Season of Musikàmera is full of events and engaging. Not to mention the 12 concert-lessons of the Musik@youth review, aimed at local students, for a program that increasingly aims to disseminate the great instrumental and vocal chamber repertoire from 1600 to 1900, addressing a chronological period and a wide and articulated stylistic panorama. On 19 and 20 June it is the turn of Esmè Quartet: founded in 2016, the Esmé Quartet is made up of four Korean musicians, winners of international competitions. In 2018 he established himself on the international scene by winning numerous first prizes in the prestigious Wigmore Hall string quartet competition in London, in particular: the Best Mozart Quartet Prize, the Best Beethoven Quartet Prize and the Proquartet Prize and the Esterhazy Foundation Prize. The Esmé Quartet won the third prize at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition in 2017, and the Audience Award at the Irene-Steels Wilsing Competition in January 2018. The Quartet recently performed at the St. Martin in London, at ‘Alpmuseum in Remagen, at the Kunstmuseum Villa Zanders, and was a guest of NDR Radio Germany.
