2015-2025. Ten years have passed since the Balkan route made headlines with images that should have remained indelible. Where are we now? Through meetings, screenings, workshops, training, music and debates, the festival seeks to answer this question and investigate what has happened and is happening along one of the most travelled but least talked about migration routes to Europe. During the initiatives we chose to listen to multiple voices that with passion, commitment, and professionalism choose every day to be out in the field, alongside people on the move, co-constructing workshops of solidarity and struggle, testifying and denouncing, in the vindication of existence, resistance and rights that are too often violated. In this edition we wanted to take a look at the evolution of the situations in the various countries of departure and what happens along the way, without forgetting to talk about the state of the right to asylum, the living and working conditions for those who then stop and live in Italy, the paths of minors and women. And a special focus on people who lose their lives or whose families have no news. The social dinners will be used to raise support for the realities dealing with the missing and dead along the Balkan routes and this theme will be the main focus throughout the festival.
