Biennale Danza marks twenty years of artistic direction with a public conversation bringing together the figures who have shaped its evolution from 2003 to the present. In dialogue with critic and journalist Sarah Crompton, the participants include Frédéric Flamand, Karole Armitage, Virgilio Sieni, Marie Chouinard and Wayne McGregor.
The event takes the form of a collective reflection on the Biennale Danza’s trajectory through the different artistic visions that have guided its direction over the past two decades. It offers a layered reading of the transformations in contemporary dance, spanning choreographic practices, shifts in stage language, and the evolving relationship between institution and creation.
