FROM THE PATHS OF DIRIYAH TO THE CANALS OF VENICE

The Saudi Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission, presents a new literary event as part of the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale.
From the Paths of Diriyah to the Canals of Venice – Literature: A Bridge Between Two Civilizations highlights the power of writing to transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, fostering dialogue among writers, translators, and publishers from Saudi Arabia and Italy.
Through storytelling and translation as tools of exchange, the panel explores how the international promotion of Saudi literature helps shape new connections and gives voice to contemporary perspectives and evolving identities.

Simultaneous translation will be provided, followed by a reception.
