Giovanni Allevi returns to the stage after the illness that forced him to take a break for more than two years, rediscovering that contact with the public so much invoked during his convalescence and crucial, according to the artist, in the speed of his recovery. In piano solo, he will in fact be the guest of Veneto Jazz at the Goldoni Theatre in Venice on 18 October as part of the Dal Vivo – La grande musica al Teatro Goldoni festival, to make his art appreciated again with greater transport and awareness. A return hoped for by the many fans around the world and announced by the artist himself from the stage of the last edition of the Sanremo Festival, where he held a moving monologue, giving the audience an unreleased piano piece, Tomorrow, chosen for such a special moment precisely “so that tomorrow for all of us there will always be a more beautiful day waiting for us”. The rebirth of Giovanni Allevi, one of the most appreciated Italian pianists on the international scene, unquestionably passes through music. And it could not be otherwise, for an artist who in every concert gives body and soul to his audience, dialoguing with them in short, genuine and unstudied monologues, as well as with his own songs.
