Jean-Michel Jarre, visionary artist and pioneer of electronic music, is ready to transform the stage of St. Mark’s Square into an unprecedented immersive experience, fusing art, technology and music in a unique event. The appointment is for 3 July 2025, when the famous musician will arrive in the drawing room of Venice (and the world) for an exclusive concert promoted by Veneto Jazz, with Influxus, Eventi Verona and Concerto Music, in collaboration with the City of Venice and Vela. An undisputed master of electronics and forerunner of multimedia, Jarre continues to write the soundtrack of the future, breaking down the barriers between sound, space and imagination. The Venetian event will be one of only two Italian dates on the tour, both hosted in iconic World Heritage sites: St. Mark’s Square in Venice (3 July) and the Amphitheatre of the Ruins of Pompeii (5 July), in a musical journey that blends history and the avant-garde. A tireless innovator, Jean-Michel Jarre has experimented with new sound languages and cutting-edge technologies, taking his art beyond the boundaries of traditional music. Famous for his spectacular shows, Jarre has broken attendance records with epic concerts in iconic venues: 1 million people in Place de la Concorde, 1.3 million in Houston, 2.5 million in La Défense and 3.5 million in Moscow.
