One of the best pianists of his generation, having recorded 13 albums as a leader, Joey Calderazzo has walked the path from child prodigy to required session musician to elite member of the best jazz ensembles. He accompanied music geniuses, from Michael Brecker and Branford Marsalis to Jack DeJohnette and Dave Holland.
John Patitucci was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1959 and began playing the electric bass at the age of ten, later experimenting with acoustic bass and piano. He quickly moves from playing soul and rock to blues, jazz and classical music – his eclectic tastes have made him explore all genres of music as a musician and composer.
