Joyce comes from a family of musicians, growing up among the jazz of the Big Apple and the environment of gospel churches. At 15 he entered one of the most prestigious schools in New York, Fiorello Laguardia High School Of The Music & Performing Arts, which later became famous throughout the world with the film Saranno Famosi. At 18 he met a pianist and began singing with his trio in various clubs in New York. During his career Joyce has the opportunity to work with national and international artists such as Randy Crawford, Ron, Laura Pausini, Elio e Le Storie Tese, Ronan Keating, Toto Cotugno and, as a chorister, with Renato Zero, Umberto Tozzi, Antonella Ruggeri, Enrico Ruggeri, Pooh, Sister Sledge and Dee Dee Bridgewater. She participated as a chorister and soloist in Paolo Conte’s tour, “Razmataz” in 2002. She recently performed at the Blue Note in Milan, achieving a sold out success and, in order not to lose her gospel roots, she also formed the group GospeL TimeS.
