Italian premiere for Jace Clayton’s project, The Julius Eastman Memorial Dinner, based on new arrangements of Eastman’s Evil Nigger (1979) and Gay Guerrilla (1980). Eastman died in solitude, though thankfully, the inspiration he left lives on in the most diverse creations thanks to his legacy of minimalism and brazen political provocation.
