The Labirinti Armonici association was founded in 2006 out of the need to make known and disseminate a certain type of ‘good music’: in particular, the focus is on Baroque music, historically placed between 1600 and 1750. But even when dealing with repertoires from other epochs, the cornerstones of the project are research and philological study: the repertoire, which is always pleasant to listen to and rich in countless combinations of sonorities, is proposed with ever-changing and ever-different ensembles. The programme revolves around two composers who share the same musical origin: the Trento-born Francesco Antonio Bonporti (1672-1749), who liked to describe himself as ‘Dilettante di musica, Gentilhuomo di Trento’ and Tomaso Albinoni (1671-1751), ‘Musico di violino, Dilettante veneto’.
