For Christina Kubisch, experimental music will hybridize with video art, sound installation, and performance art. A ‘synaesthetic’ approach to art for a rigorously trained musician who never severed her link with avant-garde music. The piece she will present at the Venice Music Biennale is based on recordings of Scuola Veneziana music performed by the Cappella Marciana choir in St. Mark’s Basilica.
