The duo formed by the guitarist Andrea Dessì and the accordionist Massimo Tagliata immediately received a great consensus from the public and critics both for the original songs and the flamenco jazz style of Andrea Dessì, and for the histrionic virtuosity of MassimoTagliata. They perform in the most important Italian festivals and theatres. They collaborate with the Argentine saxophonist Javier Girotto, with Fabrizio Bosso, Mietta and the flamenco dancer Raquel Martinez. In 2012 the song I don’t live anymore without you by A.Dessì and B.Antonacci was released, with the solo accordion of Massimo Tagliata. The piece, written for the Ma-rea by A.Dessì, is a jazz piece and becomes a pop hit that definitively marks the success of the group’s Mediterranean musical influences, both in jazz and in pop.
