The autumn session of Bissuola Live opens its doors at the Teatro del Parco for the last tranche of concerts of 2024. Raising the curtain on the festival’s programme is the concert by Marjan Farsad, who presents an unforgettable evening immersed in the melodies of her latest album, along with her best-loved classics. Mesmerising images and animations, meticulously created by the artist herself, enhance the narration and create a captivating audiovisual journey. This and much more is a concert by the Iranian artist, who is accompanied on stage by the talented guitarist Shervin Najafian and Spanish clarinettist Luismi, in an enchanting mix of music and visual art.
Marjan Farsad, born in Tehran in 1983, is a versatile artist with a multidisciplinary background. She started her career as an entertainer in Tehran, and then gradually delved into the world of songwriting. After moving to Montreal in 2009, she continued her studies in animation and simultaneously worked on her debut album, inspired by the online success of her song ‘Porteghal’. Since then, Marjan has continued to create songs that fuse her visual art with music, resulting in authentic and lasting narratives. She currently lives in Minnesota, where she continues to produce animation and music, keeping her creative spirit alive.
